Each camp is one week long (Monday through Saturday) and is held at the Fairport Boathouse in Perinton Park. Our Summer 2025 schedule is not yet available though we plan on offering 2 one week sessions this summer–one in July and one in August.. Each session is contingent on enough participants registering so ideally recruit friends to participate as well.
Students will learn the fundamentals of rowing on rowing machines and in a boat. This one-week program is open to all area youth, entering grades 7 through 12 to learn the sport of rowing! A session usually concludes with a mini-race on Saturday morning.
This program is run and coached by Fairport Crew Club coaches and is a great introduction for youth considering rowing competitively.
Please note that Fairport Crew Club is open to all surrounding communities and is not affiliated with a school.
